Official Caddying Story: Jack Druga
Jack Druga is the head golf professional at one of the world’s most distinguished courses, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. He was previously the head pro at the Country Club of Fairfield and The Creek Club, but it was caddying as a teenager in Pittsburgh that first introduced him to the game. An advisory board member of both Titleist and Peter Millar, Jack has done just about all there is to do in the game, including helping guide Tiger Woods around Shinnecock for 36 holes leading up to the 2018 US Open. He not only supports the game as a member of the PGA of America but also through the Metropolitan Golf Association (MGA) and on the board of the Amateur Golf Alliance (AGA).
Official Caddying Story: Bob Harig
Bob Harig is a senior golf writer for ESPN.com and has been covering the game for more than 25 years, first at the St. Petersburg Times and then for ESPN.com. He began contributing to ESPN.com in 1997. He also covered college football for the Times. Harig, a native of Barrington, Ill., got his first exposure to golf as a caddie at Inverness Golf Club, where he earned an Evans Scholarship to attend Indiana University. He graduated with degrees in journalism and history. Harig is a former president of the Golf Writers Association of America.

John Turner is the chairman of Hillcrest Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in Minneapolis. Prior to Hillcrest, John was the chairman and CEO of ReliaStar Financial Corp., which was acquired by ING Group in 2000 for $6.1B. He then served as the vice chairman of ING Americas until his retirement. John has also served on a range of for profit and nonprofit boards, including Hormel Foods Corporation, CNO Financial Group, MA Mortenson, the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and Allina Hospitals & Clinics. He is a longtime Western Golf Association Director and now focuses the bulk of his charitable efforts on affordable housing, believing strongly that one of the most important elements for children growing up is for them to have a stable home. The longtime CEO of PotashCorp (now Nutrien), Bill Doyle led the Canadian fertilizer conglomerate when it helped produce half of the world’s food. He now serves as the chairman of Georgetown University’s board of directors, where he and his wife, Kathy, have also established the Doyle Program for Engaging Difference. He supports other education-related causes like the Evans Scholars Foundation, the Big Shoulders Fund, and his other alma mater, Loyola Academy. But long before he became one of Harvard Business Review’s top-rated CEOs, Bill got his start as a caddie, along Chicago’s north shore.
