Official Caddying Story: Tom Hammer

Tom Hammer is a partner at venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz in its People practice, where he provides guidance and coaching to portfolio startup founders and leaders on a host of topics around talent management, organizational design, and company scaling. Prior to a16z, he held various positions at Bird, Riot Games, and P&G. He holds an MBA/MA and BSBA from Ohio State University, and has served for the last few years on the Board of Directors for Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay. While currently residing in San Francisco with his wife and young daughter, he grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago, where he caddied at Wynstone Golf Club for a decade.

Sheila is the Managing Director of Edelman's corporate brand and reputation practice in Chicago. She leads a team of over 50 specialists across Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston and Austin. She oversees a dynamic portfolio of clients centered on delivering solutions that promote, protect and evolve their corporate brand; while earning trust and engagement across a multistakeholder universe.

Before joining Edelman, she worked for Chicago-based public affairs firm Jasculca/Terman & Associates (JT). Her political- event work with JT, includes the Clinton Presidential Library Opening, the American Democracy Institute Chicago and Philadelphia Summits and Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s campaign launch.

Official Caddying Story: Ro Fallon

Mr. Fallon is President, CEO and Co-Founder of Promontory Therapeutics. He is a highly respected leader with decades of global transactional and strategic leadership. He is former Chairman & CEO of The Korea Exchange Bank, a large publicly-traded company, and prior to that he ran all of Asia-Pacific for JP Morgan Chase.

He holds a BA in Mathematics from Ohio University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Fallon is also Chairman Emeritus of The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), and is a member of The Council on Foreign Relations. He is a trustee emeritus of the Ohio University Foundation and a past recipient of both the Ouimet Scholarship and later the Ouimet Fellowship and is now a benefactor of the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund.

Zach Kuperman has extensive experience managing the insurance portfolios of hospitality companies across the country. As a Senior Vice President at Hub International, he is a leader in the National Hospitality Practice and works directly with brands such as CapitalSpring, Mendocino Farms, Lazy Dog Restaurants and many more leading restaurant operators/franchisees. Zach has extensive experience helping restaurant operators build out safety programs, risk management platforms and migrate to alternative risk insurance solutions. Prior to his work in the insurance industry, Zach worked in the banking and technology industries before touring the country for seven years as a stand up comic. In his spare time, Zach now enjoys fishing, being outdoors with friends and of course obsessing about missing his last three foot putt on the golf course.
